Former director at a Big-4 compliance practice in Dubai. Built MLMPedia after his own family lost to a Mumbai-based pyramid scheme in 2017.
Bringing transparency to network marketing since 2019.
MLMPedia is a list of network marketing companies. We track 2,481 MLM, forex and crypto opportunities across 112 countries so anyone thinking of joining one can read the plan, the reviews and the rank before they sign up.
Built because the industry needed independent eyes.
Back in 2019, a small group of ex-network-marketers, financial journalists and compliance researchers got fed up with the state of MLM information online. Every "review site" was paid affiliate content. Compensation plans were buried in 60-page PDFs. Income disclosures, when they existed at all, were impossible to compare side by side.
So we built MLMPedia. A list of network marketing companies with one rule: rankings come from our published scoring methodology and verified distributor reviews. Never from payment. Six years on, more than 1.2 million people use the site every month to research opportunities, compare plans and make a better call before they commit.
Today MLMPedia is headquartered in Dubai with editorial teams in Bengaluru and New York. It is the most-cited independent directory in academic research on direct selling.
The directory the network marketing industry should have had 30 years ago.
Direct Selling News, 2023To make every MLM decision an informed one.
We document compensation plans, regulatory status, distributor income and field reviews in plain English. The point is simple: anyone thinking about a network marketing opportunity should be able to compare, scrutinize and decide for themselves.
- Verify every company against incorporation, regulatory and trade records
- Publish actual income disclosures and earnings data instead of aspirational claims
- Aggregate reviews tied to real distributor identities. Never anonymous
- Stay editorially independent. No paid placements. No affiliate links
A direct selling industry that earns its trust.
We picture a world where compensation plans are public, income disclosures are required by default and field leaders are rewarded for the long-term outcomes of their teams rather than the size of their initial recruit.
- Every plan published in a standardized, comparable format
- Income disclosure as an industry baseline, not a regulatory afterthought
- Distributor reviews protected as a public utility, never gated
- Cross-border regulatory alignment so consumers are equally protected
Six principles we run on.
These aren't aspirations on a wall. They're the explicit rules our editorial, data and partnerships teams operate under every day.
Independence over revenue
Companies pay a flat verification fee for inclusion. They cannot buy ranking placement, remove reviews or influence their score. Ever.
Open methodology
Our 100-point Online score formula is published openly. Every weighting, every data input, every disqualifier is visible in full.
Verified voices only
Reviews require a real distributor ID confirmed with the company. No anonymous bashing, no astroturfing, no paid amplification.
Up-to-date always
Rankings refresh every Monday. Plan changes, leadership shifts, regulatory actions and review aggregates updated continuously.
Respect the distributor
We don't publish opinions about whether someone should join an MLM. We publish the data, the side-by-side comparison and the verified voices. The reader decides.
Globally consistent
Same standards for an Indian, American or African MLM. No regional double standards, no soft coverage of "local heroes."
Six years. One mission.
We started with a 40-row spreadsheet. Today MLMPedia is the most-cited independent MLM directory in the world. Here is what the six years actually added up to.
